The Merlin Software team is always looking to make the user experience as easy, intuitive and efficient as possible. New technology allows us to improve and develop the software we provide within a dynamic and ever-changing cloud environment.

If you have read our earlier newsletters, you’ll know that Merlin Software now has a range of powerful and effective WebApps. These are available to all our Merlin Classic clients.

These include our Member WebApp, Rental WebApp and Payment WebApp. They require minimal setup and are totally responsive on all devices. In many cases, they allow your owners and guests to manage every aspect of their ownership and reservation themselves, providing a better user experience for all of your Members.

However, you might not be aware that this WebApp technology is being extended to THIRD-PARTY software integration as well.

Of course, the benefits of linking and integrating our SaaS technology (Software as a Service) with other service providers are clear. Our clients can access all the functionality of the third-party supplier, manage relationships and utilize support through a Single Software Provider – Merlin. Resort clients will enjoy lower overall costs and an increase in staff productivity and efficiency.

The good news is that Merlin Software has already begun the third-party software integration process. These are now available to all our clients:

Travel Tripper (now owned by Pegasus) – a comprehensive e-commerce solution, including reservations, to help hotels worldwide to generate demand, optimize conversions, and maximize revenue.

Revinate – Helps resorts and hotels improve their ROI through a seamless hotel CRM and email marketing software. It improves your marketing and keeps guests coming back time and again.

Various point of sales – Convenient way to report and track sales using an existing software our users are operating.

Credit Card Systems – Allows users to process online payments through soft terminals by using payment clearing providers such as Eway, CyberSource, Authorize.Net etc.

Our development roadmap for integration does not stop here. We have plans to continue with building links to some of the hospitality industry’s specialist software providers such as concierge services and management reporting dashboards.
