1 Interval International hosts the 25th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive
Interval International hosted its 25th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the residents of South Miami. More than 50 Thanksgiving meals were donated by Interval employees and delivered to neighbouring families.
Since its inception forty-five years ago, Interval has supported numerous charitable initiatives, including food drives and toy fests to assist the local community. City officials joined Interval staff at the event, which was held at the company’s world headquarters in South Miami.
2 Royal Resorts offers Signature Club Wyndham Benefits
Cancun resort group, Royal Resorts, has partnered with Wyndham Destinations to provide a new Signature Club Wyndham Benefits program. It will form part of the Royal Resorts Signature Club Elite Points members and allows new Elite members access to more than 100 Club Wyndham resorts throughout the US.
Signature Club Elite members already have access to Grand Residences by Royal Resorts and other properties in the Mexican Caribbean. They also enjoy Privileges by Royal Resorts, their travel platform for discounts on hotels, cruises, and more.
With the new benefits offered through Wyndham Destinations, Elite members will access over 100 Club Wyndham resorts in top destinations throughout the United States.
This unique collaboration also allows Club Wyndham owners to access Grand Residences by Royal Resorts as a new associate resort in the Club Wyndham portfolio. Reservations are expected to become available starting in 2022.
3 Hilton Grand Vacation Q3 Results Released
Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. has reported on its third-quarter 2021 results. Some of the key points include:
• Contract sales were $433 million.
• Legacy-HGV contract sales of $290 million were 81% of Q3 2019 contract sales.
• Diamond contributed $143 million during the 59 days of HGV ownership.
• Member count increased for the fifth straight quarter.
• Total revenues were $928 million compared to $208 million for the same period in 2020.
• Net income was $99 million compared to ($7) million net loss for the same period in 2020.
• Diamond contributed $89 million to Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter.
“We’re off to a great start with the integration of our Diamond acquisition, which closed in early August,” said Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations.
“Over the past few months, I’ve met with team members at our resorts around the country, and I’m thrilled about the level of excitement across the combined organization. The integration process is proceeding as planned, and I’m confident we’ll maximize the many benefits of this transformative acquisition moving forward, including the launch of our rebranding phase next year.
“I’m also incredibly proud of the team for continuing to execute during this busy time. In the third quarter, we generated strong EBITDA in line with 2019 levels, with record margins.”

4 Wyndham Adds 12 Resorts in Europe through CLC World Collaboration
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and CLC World Resorts & Hotels, one of Europe’s largest independent resort operators have announced plans to brand 12 properties in key leisure destinations in Spain, Canary Islands, Turkey, UK, and Austria.
Due to open this month, the properties will be converted into Wyndham Grand Residences, Wyndham Residences, Wyndham, Ramada Residences by Wyndham and Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham. They will offer upper-upscale, upscale and midscale accommodation options.
The new additions will further expand Wyndham’s portfolio of over 300 hotels across Europe, adding more sought-after destinations including Turkey’s Aegean coast, Spain’s Costa del Sol, the beautiful island of Tenerife, secluded country estates in Scotland and England and the Austrian Alps.
5 Blue Diamond Resorts in ECPAT alliance
In alliance with ECPAT International, Blue Diamond Resorts has signed the “The Code International” agreement. This code aligns with the company’s commitment to safeguard the safety and integrity of children on their properties and prevent the exploitation of minors in the travel and tourism industry.
ECPAT is a growing network of over 120 civil society organizations in over 100 countries working to end:
- The sexual exploitation of children through prostitution;
- Taking action against travelling child sex offenders and tourists;
- Preventing the trafficking of children for sexual purposes;
- Stopping early and forced child marriage; and
- Eliminating the online sexual exploitation of children.
In addition, ECPAT International advocates for a more robust legal environment to protect children, raise awareness among the public about the problem, and help survivors and victims to come to terms with what has happened to them – and better understand their rights.
