How Merlin Software’s Communication Delivery Engine can support your resort business during the Covid-19 crisis and beyond.

When using the CDE to send emails, you can style the body of the email using feature-rich HTML and insert pictures in order to make your communication look professional.  You can also use various merge functions to personalise each email.

Importantly, Merlin’s CDE is GDPR compliant so recipients of marketing emails can “opt-out” of future communications if requested.

Communications managed by the CDE can be scheduled to automatically send out on specific days of the week and at a specific time.  Alternatively, they can be sent manually with the click of a button.

How the Communication Delivery Engine can help you

The Communication Delivery Engine uses the following source types to find data in your database:

Accounts/Debtor

Do you have a debt-collecting process? This source will find any clients who have outstanding accounts with you, such as loans and maintenance fees, and allow you to contact them by mail or email.  

Sales Appointments

Make sure that your leads show for their sales appointments by using the CDE to create a call or email list to remind them of the appointment date, time and reward.

Bookings

Want to keep in touch with your vacation bookings? Then the Merlin CDE will build an arrival listing of future bookings you can then email with a reminder, additional services they can arrange and any specific information they might need. 

Marketing

This source will find people who are leads and who have responded to your various marketing campaigns, allowing you to send out further marketing communications such as offers, promotions and information. The CDE will help you build complex marketing cascades based on their actions and then report on the success of each email or mailing sent or phone call made.

Memberships

Keep your members updated with offers, news and even how many points they have left to spend (and ideas on how to spend them) by building a CDE marketing email. Then schedule these communications so they are delivered every month.

Owners

Send out owner communications such as company updates, AGM notices, and regular newsletters keeping your owners informed and engaged at all times. This is especially important at this time when your owners require information about Covid-19.
