Merlin CEO Mike Pnematicatos To Attend AOCAP Conference

Merlin CEO Mike Pnematicatos to attend AOCAP Conference

CEO Mike Pnematicatos is set to attend this year’s AOCAP Conference in Singapore. The AOCAP conference is being held at the Pan Pacific Hotel from 28-29 March.

Mike will be attending the conference to promote Merlin Software for Vacation Ownership which is cloud-based, technologically-advanced software as a service that manages all alternative ownership projects.

Said Mike: “We believe Merlin Software is ideally placed to service clients in this region. In addition to our extensive knowledge and the ability of our software to service all types of vacation ownership, we are also able to provide websites for vacation owners in virtually every language of the world. This is something few, if any, of our competitors can do.”

Merlin has recently completed the implementation of its software for a number of large hospitality clients. Mike added:

“We are now actively looking for our next big client – and one that we can give our full focus and attention to.”

Over recent years, Merlin Software has established itself as a boutique software as a service provider that gives personal attention at the highest level. The company balances new client growth so that the team can continue to service its existing clients, while at the same time, ensuring each new client is given the excellent service and attention they deserve.

This year’s AOCAP conference will look at why the alternative ownership business models have significant potential in Asia Pacific. Such models include timeshare and fractional resorts and vacation clubs. Speakers will address how such market potential might be realised.

Alternative ownership projects can offer an additional or ‘alternative’ option to the more common ideas of a stand-alone hotel or integrated resort. It is an option for those looking to monetise undeveloped resort real estate, re-purpose or further optimise returns on existing inventory.

This year’s AOCAP Conference topics addressed include:

  • Commercial benefits and operational synergies within mixed use projects
  • The ability to optimise yields using shared ownership structures
  • Innovations in resort architecture and design
  • Marketing and sales approaches and innovations
  • Consumer preferences and travel industry trends
  • Industry challenges and constraints
