Merlin Software for Vacation Ownership, the leading provider of cloud-based software to the resort industry, is sponsoring the 12th annual Christel House U.K. charity golf tournament, which is taking place at Badgemore Park, Henley on Thames on Monday, June 9.
Business development director Mike Ashton is heading up the Merlin team, which this year includes Nigel Roberts (Glenmor), Ian Goddard (Richvale) and Neil Jennings (ResourcesUK).
Industry veteran Colin Collins will drive the Merlin team’s golf buggy. Said Mike Ashton:

Merlin is sponsoring the on-line live leader scoreboard so friends and colleagues can join in and know how players are getting on. These can be viewed on-line by anyone on Monday.
The Christel House U.K. charity golf tournament, hosted by RCI Europe, Nexus Leisure and Christel House Europe, is one of 13 tournaments taking place globally in June.
It is the charity’s signature fundraising event and has raised over $8 million since its inception. Over 1,500 golfers are expected to participate at this year’s tournament. All the money raised directly benefits the children as overheard and fundraising costs are covered by the organisation’s founder, Christel DeHaan.
Christel House serves more than 4,000 impoverished children around the world by providing high-quality education and the tools they need to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society. The charity aims to break the barriers of poverty for their students so they can be successful and achieve their dreams.
